GitHub Copilot Introduces Dynamic Workflows

Effective October 1, 2026, dynamic workflows are available across all GitHub Copilot plans. The feature is currently in public preview and subject to change.

• Dynamic workflows enable the orchestration of multi-step tasks, including agent-based analysis, parallel execution, and manual checkpoints.
• The GitHub Copilot app provides access to these workflows without requiring additional setup.
• In the Copilot CLI, users must enable experimental features using the --experimental flag or the /experimental on command.
